Northern Extreme Freestyle Ski Team

Northern Extreme is proud to offer learn to ski programs for kids aged 5 to 18 years.
Kids are grouped by age and skill level, and learn to ski efficiently in a variety of terrain.
The emphasis is on ski development and fun.

To REGISTER you must:

1. Fill out our Registration Forms (Forms & Documents)
2. Register with CFSA (Canadian Freestyle Ski Association). Link & Guide are under Forms & Documents
3. Send the Registration forms, proof of CFSA registration, and payment to our address (under Contact Us)

JUMPS & BUMPS

This is our entry level program. The emphasis is on basic ski techniques, and of course having FUN!

Registration Fee: $250.00
Fundraising commitments required

Training is on:
THURSDAY evenings 6:30-8:30
SUNDAY afternoons 1:00-4:00

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

This program is for kids who have developed their skills to a higher level, are interested in aquiring more freestyle specific techniques, and are interested in competing. These kids are invited to club hosted competitions throughout the province. There is a greater level of commitment to training but as always, the emphasis is on fun.

Registration Fees: $450.00
Fundraising commitments required

Training is on:
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY evenings 6:30-8:30,
SATURDAY & SUNDAY afternoons 1:00-4:00

PROVINCIAL TEAM

Kids who progress through the program and show a commitment to the next level of competition are invited to be part of the Provincial Team. This entails a larger commitment to training and travel to provincial competitions throught Alberta.

Registration Fees: $550.00

FREE RIDE

This program is for slightly more skilled skiers who are looking to improve skiing and develop skills in a very social, non-competitive environment. Kids will be exposed to a variety of ski disciplines but will not be encouraged or expected to compete. The choice will be theirs. Ski times are Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
